Star Partners

Look for the Stars is administered by the Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County and over the years has had multiple supporters. Currently the program is made possible through the funding that the Early Learning Coalition receives from the State of Florida’s Office of Early Learning, with additional financial support from Sarasota County Government and the United Way.

When the program first began in 2007, it was made possible with a generous challenge grant of nearly $1 million from Gulf Coast Community Foundation which in turn brought multiple other partners to the table including the current partners. Other community entities also provided initial monetary support when the program was first implemented, and several partners continue to support and promote the program in non-monetary ways.
